Shipping

Every cake is baked-to-order. We don’t have a freezer full of pre-made cakes — your cheesecake is hand-mixed in the morning, baked that afternoon, rested overnight, and shipped first thing the next morning. Here’s the timing.

Order timing

• Mon–Wed order: ships next business morning, arrives Tue–Fri.
• Thu order (by 2pm ET): ships Friday morning for Monday delivery.
• Thu after 2pm, Fri, Sat, Sun: ships the following Tuesday — cheesecake doesn’t survive a weekend in a warehouse.
• Custom & wedding orders: 3+ weeks lead time. Email Cheesecakerietoledo@yahoo.com.

Rates

• Free overnight refrigerated shipping on orders $80+ — continental U.S.
• Orders under $80: flat $18 overnight refrigerated.
• Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories: flat $48.
• International: not currently — perishable customs is a nightmare.

Packaging

Cakes ship in insulated foam coolers with dry ice. UPS or FedEx overnight, signature waived. If your shipping address is a business, we’ll add a phone number to the label so they can call ahead. Pick up your cake within four hours of delivery — the dry ice runs out around 28 hours after we pack it.

Tracking

Tracking emails go out the moment the cake leaves the bakery. If you don’t see one by 11am ET the morning after your ship date, write us — sometimes the email lands in promotions.
